BBT is more "accurate" in that it is the only of the two that will actually confirm that you've ovulated. Unfortunately, it only tells you after the fact. It is possible to get a +OPK and not ovulate, which is why OPKs are not always accurate. The range has been 18-37 days for ovulation - yup, that's a lot of OPKs! I've been reading online that some women don't get their temp rise until 3 or 4 days after a positive opk. Praying this happens to me. Plan on continuing with OPKs and bd'ing every 2 or 3 days ...I am using cheap OPK strips and Ovia. Ovia became much more accurate after the OPK's because I don't ovulate until day 19-20 (of a 32-34 day cycle).
